Tent Pitching Assessment Results

Hi Secondary Two Cadets,

The results for 13 September's Assessment is out and unfortunately, we did not have any that we can considered a good pass (at least 80%) even though answers are already given in advanceWe would like to compliment those cadets though that put in their effort as we can see from the scripts but just yourself is not enough. Remember Together Everyone Achieves More.

The main issues for this assessment will be the lack of effort to revise resulting in poor knowledge of tent pitching and the lack of planning and thinking of strategies to conquer the group assessment. Answers are given below for the written assessment that you have taken, it can also be found word by word in the Campcraft Page as well. It may be demoralising for you to see your results but we hope by being transparent with everyones' results it can encourage you to work harder. We have faith in you all :)

A hard skill clarification: Tent-Guy Loop is NOT THE SAME as a Guyline. A Guyline consist of a Tent-Guy Loop. Do refer to method 2 of tying guylines for more information.

We hope all of you can reflect and let us see improvements for the next Tent Pitching Assessment.

Thanks.
